As the name says, Howling Wolves “Small Batch” is all about hand-making extraordinary wines from only the smallest, rearest batches of super-premium Margaret River appellation fruit. Only superior, low-yield vineyards (producing less than 3 tonne per acre) are nurtured and chosen. As a testament, each label bears its Case and Batch Numbers, along with an individually stamped Bottle Number. So no matter what “Small Batch” you enjoy, you are guaranteed its origin, outstanding fruit and winemaking credentials and rarity.
2008 Small Batch Chardonnay
This new release is made from Margaret River Chardonnay from the prestigious Wildberry Springs vineyard. It’s a wine made for the long haul with intense white peach, almond meal and stone fruit aromas overlaying some interesting wild ferment and cap gun notes. The palate is richly flavoured with intense fruit, attractive toasty oak and great acid drive. The wine displays complexity, freshness, richness and great persistence of flavour. A quality wine made from a quality vineyard. Enjoy for 5+ years.

2006 Small Batch Cabernet Merlot Cabernet Franc
A sublime super-premium wine made by Mark Warren from glorious fruit hand-picked in the cooler sub-region of Karridale. The wine projects exotic lifted aromas of forest floor and eucalypt with a subtle oak driven spice and cedar background. The palate is laden with dark fruits and bitter chocolate, swirling with briary, savoury characters and herbal notes. It is sartorially elegant, medium bodied, with astringent tannins and rich distinguished red fruit persistence.
