For the past 10 years Howling Wolves wines have been vintnered at the same modern winery, located on 17 hectares in Willyabrup sub-region in the north of Margaret River. The winery is “Five Star James Halliday Rated” and one of the largest facilities of it’s type in in Western Australia, with a capacity and the resources to crush over 1,600 tonnes of fruit and vintner over 1.7 million litres of premium wine per vintage. With a history of producing outstanding award-winning premium wines, it employs world leading, state-of-the-art technology alongside time-honoured and traditional winemaking skills. 


Howling Wolves chief winemaker, Cameron McPherson, notes our philosophy as a synergy between viticulture and winemaking: “We are ‘terroirists’. Believers that the vineyard is actually the ‘holy grail’ of winemaking and that most consistently great wine is first created in hallowed soil of the vineyard - in our case, the sacred of vines in a rare clutch of vineyards, in Margaret River.” This tradition of producing only premium quality wines of great character and fruit driven integrity is proudly showcased with every bottle of Howling Wolves.
